Introduction 

 

          Kasetsart Competence Center for the Development of Sustainable Tourism and Innovative Financial Management Strategies to increase the positive impact of local tourism in Thailand or Kasetsart Sustainable Tourism Center ( KSTC) was founded in 2019 under Competence Center for the Development of Sustainable Tourism and Innovative Financial Management Strategies to increase the positive impact of local tourism in Thailand and Vietnam (TOURIST) funded by ERASMUS+ Program.

         The centre delivers academic training, workshop, research-based information and solution, consulting and create a network to suit the needs of its customers. Our goals are to provide all stakeholders with empirical data, reliable information and knowledge to enhance their capacities and encourage collaborations and understanding amongst all parties involved.  

         We strive to be one of the best centres for counseling services in sustainable tourism. The main target groups are comprised of communities involved in tourism activities, research agencies and researchers interested in sustainable tourism issues, companies and businesses appealed to incorporating their CSR activities into higher impact projects, government and local government units and NGOs.

        The centre is managed by the quality team which are consisted of academic staffs from the Faculty of Business Administration who are keen on tourism, hospitality and financial management areas and has long experience in training, researching and consulting in the concerned areas. The centre is self-funding with some non-financial supports from the Faculty of Business Administration.
